Job summary

Upper Canada Forest Products, Inc. is seeking an AZ Driver for cross-border operations. You will operate a tractor trailer and ensure compliance with safety regulations while delivering premium wood products.

AZ Driver - Cross Border (2-4 nights per week OTR)

Rate:

$31.00

As a Driver for Upper Canada Forest Products, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and enhance our customer experience.

If you are passionate about making a difference, impacting driver operations efficiencies, partnering with our warehouse teams, and ensuring products are distributed safely – this opportunity may be the right fit for you.

What you will do:
  • Operate a tractor trailer; potentially straight truck as needed.
  • Ongoing and continuous learning and development; including forklift certification.
  • Comply with applicable legislation including safety operation, carriage of goods, driver’s hours, occupational health and safety, and applicable traffic laws.
  • Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment meets our rigorous safety standards.
  • Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary driver compliance documentation.
  • Fill reports such as Driver logs, inspection reports (pre-trip, enroute, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, and incident reports.
  • Perform all aspects of truck and trailer load securement.
  • Physically capable of opening and closing curtains on the trailer.
  • Safely load and unload premium quality wood products for our customers.
  • May be required to operate a forklift and/or Moffett.
  • Safely lift material up to 75 pounds.
  • Provide excellent customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.
