JOB SUMMARY

As a Driver Team Member with PODS, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up containers at customer locations, ensuring an effective and incident-free experience while maintaining excellent customer rapport.

Please note that some Saturdays are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers safely, following all safety rules
• Perform and log daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and load
• Accept additional deliveries as needed to meet business requirements
• Use company handheld smartphone or computer for delivery verification and navigation
• Operate a forklift when necessary (training/certification provided)
• Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery
• Communicate with the Driver Lead or Storage Center Market Manager regarding customer questions or issues; prepare driver notes as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck cab (inside and outside)
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible, you must:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be able to read documents and write neatly and legibly, transcribing accurate information
• Have at least 3 months of experience as a commercial driver
• Maintain a current/valid Class 1, 2, or 3 license with air brake endorsement
• Be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
• Have no serious moving violations in the past 3 years
• Have hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software
