Position Summary

All members of the Kenroc team will demonstrate respect and ethical conduct, work safely, provide excellent customer service, and support superior performance in achieving both individual and company goals. Reporting to the Operational Leader, the Delivery Driver is responsible for safe and damage-free deliveries to the proper physical location, based on delivery documentation, utilizing company delivery vehicles. Deliveries may require operating equipment such as articulated truck-mounted booms, forklifts, and conveyors, provided proper licensing, certification, or training has been met. As an ambassador of the company, the delivery driver is expected to conduct themselves professionally, working collaboratively and respectfully with customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Understand and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
  2. Provide leadership and training on safe material handling to Material Handlers.
  3. Count loads and complete delivery slips to ensure accuracy.
  4. Ensure truck weight requirements are adhered to, including legal axle weights and GVW/GVCW limits, and that loads are evenly distributed and secured.
  5. Complete safety documentation for the full delivery cycle, including equipment checks, accurately and efficiently.
  6. Conduct pre-trip equipment inspections and report findings for maintenance.
  7. Perform jobsite hazard assessments before unloading materials.
  8. Accurately complete and file count sheets, sales orders, and packing slips.
  9. Assist in preparing and building truck loads at the warehouse.
  10. Maintain a general understanding of the company’s products and services.
  11. Produce quality work and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Employees may be asked to contribute to duties outside their main scope as required, based on qualifications, licensing, and safety certifications.

Skills & Qualifications
  1. GED (Grade 12)
  2. Class 3 license with at least one year of delivery experience
  3. Forklift and/or Crane certification is an asset; Crane Safe Certification may be required by regulation.
  4. Fall Arrest, First Aid, Equipment Operation, and Air Endorsement training are assets.

  1. Ability to lift up to 110 lbs repeatedly.
  2. Strong critical thinking skills for field decision-making.
  3. Effective communication with team, vendors, and customers.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Respectful and ethical conduct.
Pre-employment Conditions
  1. Provide a valid Class 3 Driver’s License and current driver’s abstract, dated within 7 days.
  2. Pass a pre-employment drug test (Policy C-14 Substance and Alcohol Abuse Prevention).
