Job summary

Bumper To Bumper Auto Parts in Newmarket, ON is seeking a Driver to join our dynamic team. You will prepare and deliver orders, verify invoices, and assist with in-store customer service while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

No prior experience is required, but you must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. You will be supported by our comprehensive benefits and pension plan as part of a vibrant work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Examine the condition of merchandise at delivery and obtain customer sign-off.
• Organize daily pickup of cores, returns and warranties without delaying deliveries.
• Record deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork and adhere to service strategies.
• Comply with electronic delivery standards and policies.
• Report any customer complaints to Dispatcher or Store Manager promptly.
• Check vehicle fluids, tires and cleanliness inside/outside the vehicle.
• Follow all road rules and safe driving practices at all times.
• Communicate with Dispatcher/Store Manager on progress or delays.
• Assist with cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Help with customer service tasks and maintain a neat store environment.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders

• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery

• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency

• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies

• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards

• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager

• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle

• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times

• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays

• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory

• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
