Job summary

Xpedient Logistics ULC is seeking a Tire Delivery Driver in Ontario to safely deliver tires to customers’ homes or businesses. You will load and unload tires, follow routes, and use navigation tools while maintaining professional interactions with customers.

Strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; forklift experience is a plus and prior customer service is preferred. This position is on-site and includes benefits and holiday time.

Qualifications

• Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience with forklift is a plus.

As a Tire Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their packages in a timely and professional manner. You will be responsible for safely transporting packages, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating any issues or delays that may arise during the delivery process. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to lift heavy objects, and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver tires to customers' homes or businesses
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
• Load and unload tires from delivery vehicles
• Use navigation tools to find the most efficient routes
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Communicate any delivery issues or delays to the appropriate personnel
• Stage orders / pick orders / clean up

Requirements:

• Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Must be able to lift heavy packages, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis
• Experience operating a forklift is a plus
• Prior experience in customer service is preferred

Safety:

• Observe and follow health and safety regulations
• Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
• Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
• Assign designated safety personnel
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Closed for all Statutory Holidays and Sundays.
