Job summary

Livingston is seeking a Driver to handle safe and timely pickup and delivery of vehicles within the Maritime provinces. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, prepare condition reports, and maintain logs while delivering exceptional customer service.

The posted base salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 CAD, with compensation determined by location, experience and market conditions. This full-time role offers stability within a dynamic, growth-oriented team across North America.

Qualifications

  • Experience with tandem axle auto hauler tractor with sleeper and Cottrell trailer.
  • Proper loading, load securement and weight distribution techniques.
  • Good communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload cars, trucks and vans as required.
  • Pickup and deliver through the designated locations.
  • Prepare condition reports and verify orders; ensure client signatures.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
  • Report to Dispatch daily for loads and instructions; maintain regular communication with Dispatch.
  • Maintain an electronic log and other related applications.
  • Follow all Hours of Service regulations and traffic laws.
  • Report damages to cargo and truck to the Manager/Supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

JOB SUMMARY

The Driver is responsible for safe and timely pickup and delivery of vehicles within the Maritime provinces. Duties include vehicle inspections; loading and offloading car carrier; timely and accurate completion of daily logs, fuel, mileage and run sheets, while providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Base salary is one component of our total rewards package which also includes incentive opportunities, benefits, and professional development. Salary ranges are established by location and reflect relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $100,000 CAD. Actual compensation will be determined based on these factors and may vary accordingly.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Load and unload cars, trucks and vans as required.
  • Responsible for pickups and deliveries through the designated locations.
  • Prepare condition reports and verify orders for accuracy, ensure the client has signed all electronic applications or necessary documents.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
  • Report to Dispatch on a daily basis for loads and instructions, maintain regular communication with Dispatch to ensure that customer needs are met.
  • Maintain an electronic log and other applications associated with the position.
  • Follow all Hours of Service regulations.
  • Follow all speed and traffic regulations.
  • Report damages to cargo and truck immediately to the Manager/Supervisor.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

  • Experience with using Tandem axle auto hauler tractor with sleeper and Cottrell trailer

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED

Car Hauling: 1 year experience (preferred)

Class 1 with Air Brakes Endorsement

EDUCATION

Required: High School/GED or equivalent
