Lafarge, one of Canada’s leading suppliers of ready mix concrete has a requirement for Ready-Mix truck drivers for the Chatham area for the upcoming construction season. These positions will be defined as part-time seasonal and could possibly become full-time if workload warrants it; some locations operate all year round.

Location: Chatham Lafarge RMX, located on Byng Avenue, Chatham, Ontario. We encourage you to drop off a resume at the location or apply online.

Responsibilities

• Delivering concrete to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Follows and ensures full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Upkeep of truck appearance, assist with light maintenance around the Concrete plant.
• Paperwork – circle checks, delivery ticket information.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Grade 12 diploma.
• Valid AZ or DZ licence.
• Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in the trucking industry preferred.
• Training will be provided for operating the Ready Mix truck.
