Role Overview:

Our Team in Toronto West office is searching for a Drainage and Stormwater Design Co-op Student to join its growing team. You will be a key member of a focused and dedicated team. The group provides preliminary design services, detailed design services, preparation of tender documents, assistance with procurement and tender evaluation, contract administration, engineering services during construction and post construction services for civil work. The projects are for both private and public clients in various jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with quality control/assurance process
• Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
• Assist with Drainage area maps
• Assist with drainage and stormwater design work
• Field measurement and Site inspection

Qualifications

• currently enrolled in the civil or environmental Engineering program
• Completed 2-3 years of the program
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to work effectively independently and on a team
• Previous Co-op work experience is an asset

The salary range for this position is $20-28/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
