Job summary

Joelle's Technical Resources & Custom Works Inc. in Timmins, Ontario seeks a motivated Draftsperson (CAD Technician) to prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings for fabrication and industrial projects.

The role involves collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and clients to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards. The successful candidate will use AutoCAD and SolidWorks, support estimating and planning, and maintain strict document control while delivering quality drawings on

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software is a plus.
• Experience with mining, industrial, fabrication, or heavy construction projects is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines.

Joelle's Technical Resources & Custom Works Inc. (JTR) is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsperson (CAD Technician) to join our growing team in Timmins, Ontario .

Position Summary

The Draftsperson will prepare accurate technical drawings and layouts for fabrication, welding, structural steel, piping, and industrial projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager, engineers, supervisors, and clients to ensure drawings meet project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
• Produce fabrication and shop drawings from engineering sketches and specifications.
• Revise and update drawings based on project changes.
