Job summary

Canwest Tanks is seeking a drafting professional to prepare engineering designs and drawings on-site in Surrey, BC. The role requires reading blueprints, developing design sketches, and preparing specifications, costs and material estimates for construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of drafting experience, proficiency in CAD, AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years drafting experience.
• On-site work location in Surrey, BC.
• Criminal record check and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
