Job summary

A leading architectural firm in Toronto is looking for a skilled architectural technician to engage in various design projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD modeling and creating technical drawings, along with a diploma in architectural technology. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)
• Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)
• Analyze technical documents and reports
• Tender contracts
• Assist in supervising construction projects
• Prepare working drawings
• Supervise architectural technical staff
• Monitor and inspect work
• Construct architectural and display models
• Assist in design development
• Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
• Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes
• Plan and organize construction projects
• Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
