About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Drafter who excels at translating concepts into precise, production-ready drawings. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in solid work planning, drafting, and production processes, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drafting and Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and precise technical drawings using SolidWorks.
2. Production Planning: Work closely with the planning team to ensure accurate and efficient transitions from drafting to production.
3. Fabrication Support: Collaborate on the bending, forming, and assembly of sheet metal components.
4. Quality Assurance: Perform dimensional inspections and ensure part accuracy.
5. Material Management: Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
6. Welding Specifications: Produce assembly drawings with TIG and MIG welding details.
7. Laser Cutting: Utilize RADAN software for laser cutting (an asset but not required).
8. On-Site Precision: Use measuring tools on the plant floor to validate designs and prototypes.

What We're Looking For

1. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in SolidWorks; experience with RADAN is an advantage.
2. Fabrication Knowledge: Hands-on experience with welding, sheet metal, bending, and forming techniques.
3. Attention to Detail: A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to drafting and planning.
4. Team Player: Collaborative, punctual, and motivated with a dynamic work ethic.
5. Bilingualism: Proficiency in English and French is preferred.

Compensation

1. Wage: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on experience.
2. Reporting to: Planning Manager / President.
