Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Toronto is seeking a senior .NET developer to design, implement, and deploy scalable backend services on Azure. You will own end-to-end delivery of cloud-native services with a focus on performance, security and reliability.

The role requires extensive experience with .NET, Azure Functions, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and CI/CD pipelines. You will mentor mid-level developers and collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps to ensure cost-efficient Azure solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on .NET development with C# on .NET Core/6/8.
• Strong experience with Azure Functions, Service Bus, App Service, Blob Storage, Key Vault.
• SQL-Server / Azure SQL design, indexing, T-SQL, stored procedures, query tuning.
• Identity & security: Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth2 / OIDC, Managed Identity.
• Unit testing (xUnit / NUnit / MSTest) and integration testing.
• CI/CD using Azure DevOps YAML pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Git, branching strategies and code-review discipline.

Responsibilities
