Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Langford, BC, is hiring for a door production role in our state-of-the-art warehouse. The position runs Monday through Friday with an hourly wage range of $22.50 to $30 per hour.

You will produce and manufacture doors using machines and tools, follow safety requirements, read work orders, and help coordinate workflow within the manufacturing plant and supply chain to expedite production. Health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with disciplined work habits.
• Effective written and oral communication skills (Ability to speak, read and write in English)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Good knowledge of basic mathematics

Responsibilities

• Produce and manufacture doors using machines and tools.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Use of power tools
• Read work orders before beginning production to ensure information.
• Understand machine processes, paperwork systems and quality standards.
• Assist with coordination of workflow within manufacturing plant and supply chain to expedite production.
• Record any product used that is not on the work order.
• Advise supervisor of low inventory or other product concerns
• Keep work area organized and free of debris at the end of the day.
• Check machining, cutting, and processing tolerances against required standards.
• Various other duties as directed by management.
