Job summary

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular part-time Registered Nurse (Donor Centre Nurse) to join the Collections team for BC-North Surrey Donor Centre mobiles. You will assist in blood collection and ensure safety protocols and proper documentation.

You will provide coaching to staff, perform phlebotomy, and help create a positive donor experience at mobile clinics across communities. Shifts vary and travel is required, with accommodations provided where available.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program and RN license in good standing.
• Two years nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience as a preceptor or with coaching others is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture and donor post-donation care.
• Maintain accurate records across donor management systems.
• Deliver exceptional donor experience through clear communication.
• Lead and coach donor centre staff during events as needed.
• Set up mobile donor clinic spaces and ensure safety protocols are followed.
