Job summary

National Diabetes Trust is seeking a Charitable Donations Pickup Driver to drive established routes, collect donated clothing and household items from customers’ homes and donation bins, and deliver these items to corporate partners and storage facilities.

The role requires a valid Class 5 license, a clean driving record, the ability to handle 10–50 lb loads, and strong organizational skills for efficient route mapping and safe operation.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
• Must have Full Class 5 and/or G license or higher, passenger car or light truck.
• Must have a clean driver abstract, less than 21 days old, with no violations or accidents within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive established routes to collect donated clothing and household items.
• Deliver items to corporate partners and storage facilities.
• Complete required paperwork daily and maintain Hours-of-Service logs.
• Check in with dispatch at scheduled times and report route discrepancies.
• Unload merchandise as instructed and return equipment to the office at end of day.
