Salary: $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Scan and digitize paper documents and records using high-speed scanners.
Organize and prepare documents for scanning, ensuring proper order and alignment.
Ensure scanned files are clear, legible, and free of errors.
Label and tag files with appropriate metadata for easy retrieval.
Check and verify digital files for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring proper care of scanning equipment.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Assist with data entry or organizing files in digital storage systems as needed.
Troubleshoot minor issues with scanning equipment and report major issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or technical training a plus).
Proven experience in scanning, digitizing, or document management (preferred).
Familiarity with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital file management (preferred).
Previous experience in Office Services/Production at another law firm an asset.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of data.
Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
Good physical stamina for handling and organizing paper documents.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
