The Document Control & Turnover Coordinator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of project documentation while coordinating all turnover activities to ensure a smooth and timely handover to operations. This role works closely with construction, commissioning, QA/QC, and project teams to maintain organized records, support system walkdowns, and ensure the accurate and on-time delivery of all turnover packages.

This is a temporary full-time position expected to last approximately 3 months or until project completion, following a standard turnaround schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize project documentation systems in compliance with CAM and client standards.
  • Compile and manage turnover packages, including drawings, inspection records, certifications, and checklists.
  • Coordinate and support system walkdowns and track resolution of punch list items.
  • Monitor turnover progress and ensure all milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation with construction and commissioning progress.
  • Assist in the development of project-specific procedures and documentation workflows.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on document control and turnover status.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, project completions, or turnover coordination within industrial, construction, or turnaround environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of documentation workflows, QA/QC protocols, and system turnover requirements.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical documents, including P&IDs, isometrics, and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in document management and turnover tracking systems; experience with industry-standard software is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
