Job description

Our valued client is seeking a Document Control Administrator in Bonnyville. This is a full-time/contract role, working Monday to Friday. Candidates must be local to the area and have a reliable vehicle for travel to different plant sites in the Lakeland area.

Objective

This position will collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain effective electronic records and document management practices for the Cold Lake Thermal operations department.

Essential Functions
  1. Planning and coordinating paper record digitization processes
  2. Monitoring, analyzing, auditing, interpreting, and reporting trends, and making appropriate recommendations to capitalize on opportunities, mitigate risk, and resolve issues
  3. Ensuring conformance to legal, regulatory, and corporate governance and controls requirements
  4. Building and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, IS teams, and management
  5. Coaching staff on processes, practices, and technologies
  6. Contributing to the development of strategies, policies, processes, standards, and programs related to the Information Services department’s products and services
Competencies
  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Records Management, IS, or relevant experience in a similar role
