Job Description

1. Reporting directly to the Terminal Manager
2. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully and safely operate all dock equipment pertinent to the position.
3. Duties include the loading and unloading of all variations of freight
4. Checking manifests and inspecting inbound/outbound shipments
5. Assist with the clean-up in and around the terminal
6. Perform routine dock checks
7. Assist customers in picking up/dropping off freight
8. Book Seaspan Barge trailers
9. Create linehaul manifests

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working in a warehouse or cross-dock setting
• Must have experience operating forklifts, utilizing dollies, pallet jacks (hydraulic/electric)
• Must possess good organizational skills
