DNA Banking System Specialist (Fiserv)

About the work environment:

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times.

About you:

You are a highly motivated and versatile Fiserv DNA SME (Subject Matter Expert) within Core Banking. you have expertise in the Fiserv DNA core banking platform, and act as a key consultant to internal clients, providing technical guidance on system configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting. You understand the business requirements and translate them into functional specifications within the DNA system, particularly for deposit, lending, and treasury functionalities.

About the qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fiserv DNA Experience:
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience with the Fiserv DNA core banking platform.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience with the Fiserv DNA product configuration and other system related configuration.
  • A strong familiarity with Fiserv’s payment solutions.
  • A good understanding of core banking functionalities, including deposit accounts, lending products, treasury management, and system architecture.
  • A strong understanding of CRM/BI reporting tool.
• IT or Business Analysis: 5 or more years of experience in IT or business analysis, with a focus on financial institutions.
• Project Management: Basic project management skills with experience participating in numerous projects, especially those involving core banking system implementations.
• Data Conversion: Experience leading data conversion teams for financial institutions, including automation, validation, and conversion skills.
• Database Knowledge: Familiarity with database concepts, including SQL and Oracle, as well as data mapping techniques.
• System Configuration: Proficiency in configuring DNA system, including setting up parameters for deposit, lending, and treasury modules.
• IT SDLC Understanding: Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its application in system implementation and upgrades.
• Business Analysis: Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
• Client Relationship Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage internal client relationships and present technical information.

About the day-to-day:

• Client Consultation: Act as the primary point of contact for internal clients regarding Fiserv DNA system functionality, addressing questions, and providing solutions to complex issues related to system configuration and usage.
• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for implementing Fiserv DNA, identifying potential gaps between client needs and system capabilities.
• System Design and Configuration: Translate business requirements into functional specifications, configuring the DNA system to meet specific client needs, including setting up parameters for deposit, lending, and treasury modules.
• Implementation Support: Provide technical guidance during the implementation process, including data migration, testing, and training for staff on the DNA system.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during system operation, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with Fiserv support teams as needed.
• Project Management: Contribute to project planning, timelines, and deliverables for Fiserv DNA implementations, ensuring project success.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new features, updates, and enhancements within the Fiserv DNA platform to advise internal clients on best practices and potential upgrades.
• Solution Leadership: Lead the development of solutions for project requirements, ensuring they align with client needs and system capabilities.
• Consultation and Guidance: Act as the primary advisor for Business Support Analysts, providing expert advice and guidance on complex issues related to the Fiserv DNA system.
• Vendor Coordination: Work with Fiserv Support and Project teams representing IT Core Banking.

Compensation:

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $95,000 and $120,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience that the chosen candidate possess.
