State Street is seeking a DLP Platforms Technical Support Lead for our Security Platforms team, part of the State Street Cyber Fusion Centre. This team designs, manages, and supports security tools critical for threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management. Preferred location is Boston/Quincy, Massachusetts, USA.

Who Are We Looking For

We seek a motivated, detail-oriented leader to oversee our DLP support team, ensuring effective operation of Data Loss Prevention systems and resolving complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DLP technologies, leadership skills, and a commitment to security and data protection.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  1. Leading and mentoring a team of DLP support engineers
  2. Resolving support tickets promptly and adhering to SLAs
  3. Upgrading and tuning system components following internal processes
  4. Collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to enhance DLP capabilities
  5. Contributing to projects that improve DLP systems and support growth
  6. Performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures
  7. Escalating complex issues as needed
  8. Partnering with Cyber Fusion Centre teams to meet operational needs
What We Value
  • Experience supporting DLP tools across various security domains
  • Knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms like Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian, ProofPoint, Microsoft Purview
  • Proficiency managing Linux-based applications and understanding Linux commands and permissions

  • Leadership experience in managing teams

  • Experience in 24/7 security operations emphasizing reliability
Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years in IT support, cybersecurity, or related fields
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC) are beneficial
  • Experience in financial services is a plus

  • Availability for weekend work supporting 24/7 operations
