Job Opportunity: K-12 Distance Learning Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Language Teachers

Anchor Academy is seeking contract D.L. teachers for the 2022-23 School Year.

The successful candidate will:

1. Have experience working in Special Education.
2. Have experience working with and teaching students at a distance.
3. Be able to teach all K-12 program subjects.
4. Be familiar with B.C.'s New Curriculum.
5. Be familiar with online communication and learning management systems (beneficial).
6. Have the ability to teach second languages (French, Spanish, German) — considered an asset.
7. Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
8. Be a self-starter with high initiative.
9. React positively to collaboration and feedback.
10. Have computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
11. Have a passion for learning and education.
