We’re seeking a full-time, permanent Divisional Sales Director to join our Central Ontario team. This role will support a large territory of HearCANADA clinics and will require travel. The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and will work in a hybrid environment with some time spent at our Burlington head office and time spent onsite at designated HearCANADA clinic locations (travel can be up to 60% of the time).

What it’s all about:

The Divisional Sales Director will oversee assigned HearCANADA clinics (direct oversight to both people and operations) throughout their assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will have territory retail and/or clinic leadership experience. To succeed in this role, you will bring business acumen and direct experience leading, coaching, and motivating teams. You are a high-energy team leader who is growth-oriented and has a passion to grow not only the region in terms of sales, but grow and develop our existing talent.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Directly lead a large team across the assigned territory, including full-cycle people management (assessing and hiring talent, coaching and mentorship, performance management, terminations, employee relations); collaborate regularly with the Human Resources team on people-related items.
  • Monitor KPIs (key performance indicators) across your defined territory; prepare and deliver reports and make recommendations and data-driven decisions based on reported metrics to increase profitability.
  • Support ongoing communications within your defined territory; act as the point-person for your region in head office and global meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to develop business, HearCANADA branding, and community relations within your territory; supports and executes the territory marketing plan including outreach initiatives and community events/physician outreach.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Human Resources, Training and Development, Facilities, etc.) to maximize the success and compliance in your region.
  • Delegates responsibilities appropriately to maintain focus on high-level items.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on HearCANADA's policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Participate in required travel the assigned territory and to company events.

What we are looking for:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as Business, Commerce, Audiology, etc. or a blend of post-secondary education and related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role (both people and operations leadership) in a multi-site or territory oversight environment.
  • Experience in a healthcare, retail, and/or clinic setting is strongly preferred. Exposure to regulated environments would be considered an asset.
  • Direct experience guiding direct and indirect reports through change management.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills; comfortability presenting information to various levels of stakeholders and adopting your style based on the audience.
  • Business acumen and experience in a data-driven environment.
  • High-energy leader with the ability to inspire teams.
  • Experience building professional rapport with clients, colleagues, community partners, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Technical acumen and experience leveraging and adopting new technology to increase efficiencies.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid drivers license is required; willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory is required.
