We are seeking two teachers to serve as in-house substitute teachers across the division for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities include covering teacher duties when absent, following lesson plans, managing classrooms, and fostering a positive learning environment. Preference will be given to candidates with experience at multiple educational levels.
These are part-time (0.5 FTE), probationary contracts, with duties at various locations including Altario, Consort, Veteran, Youngstown, Cessford, Hanna, Delia, Morrin, and others. Travel throughout the division is required; a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are necessary. A fleet vehicle may be provided.
Applicants must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate. The division also operates several online and faith-based schools, such as Al-Amal Academy and Green Dome Islamic School in Calgary, among others.
