Our Liquid Waste Services Department is seeking a Division Manager, WWTP Technical Services to oversee the technical operations of five regional wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). In this leadership role, you will manage operational engineering, process treatment, major capital projects, and process safety engineering. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient, sustainable, and compliant operations, driving improvements, integrating new technologies, providing technical leadership for capital projects, overseeing system commissioning, and ensuring safety across all plants. You will liaise with regulatory agencies, ensure environmental compliance, and lead emergency responses. Collaborating with senior management, municipal partners, and regulatory bodies, you will provide strategic advice and foster a culture of safety, innovation, and professional growth.

Qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or related field; a Professional Engineer (Eng) designation is an asset; at least 10 years of wastewater treatment experience; expertise in process engineering, plant operations, and safety management; proven leadership in capital projects, compliance, and team management; and strong communication and project management skills.
