The Company and The Role

Our client, a mid-sized manufacturing business and subsidiary of a large publicly traded company, is looking for a Division Controller to lead their Cambridge operation. As a key strategic and tactical leader, you will report to the Corporate Finance Leader with a dotted line to the GM, supporting a business generating under $50 million in annual revenue.

You will oversee a team of 7, championing financial performance through robust reporting, insightful analysis, and collaborative decision-making. You will play a critical role in developing the annual operating plan, managing balance sheet performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity to partner directly with senior leadership and drive both short- and long-term financial success.

What makes you a fit:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in controllership, FP&A, and operational finance within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Proven leadership experience, ideally with 3+ years in a management role
• CPA designation required; MBA considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, and skilled in cost accounting practices
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Strategic thinker with strong tactical execution abilities
