We specialize in delivering top-tier AV solutions for corporate and social events, and our team is driven by innovation, collaboration, and excellence.*The Opportunity:*As our HR Manager/Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that the HR department is an effective and beneficial part of the organization. By using best practices in all areas of human resources and maintaining up-to-date records, you will play a key role in optimizing our people and resources. You will provide strategic HR support, ensure compliance with employment legislation, lead talent management initiatives, and foster a positive company culture. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and growing company.*What You?ll Do:** Lead HR efforts to align with organizational goals and provide guidance on best practices related to labor laws and employment standards.* Oversee the full cycle recruiting process, from job postings and resume screening to interviews and hiring decisions, ensuring we attract top talent across all levels of the organization.* Foster positive employee relations and support initiatives to enhance company culture and engagement.* Ensure compliance with labor laws, Occupational Health and Safety regulations, and company policies.* Develop and oversee performance management processes, including setting objectives, conducting evaluations, and creating development plans for employees.* Deliver training programs for both management and staff to improve skills, knowledge, and overall performance.* Manage day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining accurate records and administering policies and programs.* Oversee and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and legal requirements.* Provide guidance and support to management and ownership on complex HR issues, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and employee development strategies.* Oversee HR systems to ensure efficient record-keeping and reporting.* Occasionally travel to branch locations across Western Canada to support HR initiatives.*What You Bring:** A Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., CHRP, CHRL, SHRM) are preferred.* 5+ years of progressive HR experience, 5+ Years of experience in a similar role* Strong knowledge of BC & SK employment legislation, and Occupational Health and Safety legislation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office* Proven ability to lead and develop a team, provide coaching, and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
