The CLAC Training, Apprenticeship, Jobs – West Team is seeking a full-time Manager for Langley. This role provides leadership, strategic guidance, and operational oversight for assigned functional areas, projects, and programs, ensuring they align with organizational strategy and uphold high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and support team members, facilitate goal-setting, monitor performance, and handle HR activities such as recruitment and training.
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Collaborate to develop and execute strategic objectives aligned with CLAC’s goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain relationships with staff, members, employers, and partners to promote programs and services.
- Budget Management and Reporting: Oversee financial planning, ensure compliance, and report on performance metrics.
- Continuous Improvement and Compliance: Implement process improvements and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Project and Event Coordination: Manage initiatives, community events, and partnerships, representing CLAC’s mission.
- Job Placement and Member Retention: Oversee recruitment, placement strategies, and data analysis to measure success.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in business, HR, or related field.
- Additional certifications in project management, HR, or workforce development are advantageous.
Skills and Experience
- At least 4 years’ experience with CLAC, preferably in training, apprenticeship, or jobs team.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, budgeting, and communication skills.
- Experience with recruitment, workforce placement, and applicant tracking systems.
Reporting and Location
Reports to the Director, Training, Apprenticeship.

- Salary: $80,962 - $115,660 annually
