Posted on: April 22, 2025 by CONNECT PARTNERSHIP GROUP
CONNECT PARTNERSHIP GROUP, established in 2017, conceptualizes, finances, and executes large-scale, world-class event brands that offer meaningful experiences, memorable events, and enhanced connectivity within the communities we serve. We are a small but dynamic team of 11 dedicated professionals striving to make a difference. We work with the participant’s perspective in mind, believing it is about engagement, experience, connections, and learning; leaving with something you didn’t have before. We aim to create a vibrant marketplace that serves the audience and facilitates connections resulting in partnerships.
As organizers, we believe events should be transformative, meaningful, impactful, and add value to the rightsholders of the communities they serve. We are a growing and entrepreneurial team that offers opportunity, flexibility, and a safe environment where you can be yourself and do great work.
We are looking for an energetic, curious, and talented communicator who wants to make an impact! You will identify, initiate, and develop relationships that help grow our corporate participation and sponsorship for our high-profile events. You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales plan, meeting weekly and monthly sales targets, and working creatively to develop robust and relevant corporate participation in our events.
Daily work requires high energy, discipline, and a genuine intention to understand the buyer’s perspective and sell value to gain commitment. Most work will be executed over the phone, with some conducted through virtual and in-person meetings and email. Sales activities require a high volume of work, including but not limited to cold calling, emails, research, meetings (in-person and virtual), contract preparation, negotiation, contact management, reporting, customer service, and relationship management.
Along with sales and relationship development skills, the ideal candidate will collaborate with our functional departments (marketing, operations, content) to maintain our critical path and favorable workflow. This role will primarily be responsible for new business but also the longer-term stewardship of our corporate relationships, as well as renewals and referrals that may result.
