Job description

ASI Group Ltd. has an ongoing search for experienced Dive Supervisors to join our team in Stoney Creek, Ontario. They will be responsible for assisting with the planning and supervision of day-to-day activities required at a commercial dive site. ASI has a very strong H&S culture; our supervisors are expected to embrace and promote a safe working environment in accordance with the Ministry of Labour and CSA Standard Z275.

ASI Marine provides industries and governments worldwide with leading-edge underwater services focused on the assessment, maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction of underwater infrastructure and environments. More specifically, ASI Marine specializes in commercial diving, underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) operations, marine geophysical and hydrographic surveys, and hyperbaric support for tunnel construction.

Requirements:
  • Hold a current Unrestricted Surface Supply Commercial Diving Supervisor Certificate and DCBC Card from the Diver Certification Board of Canada
  • Have an in-date “Fit to Dive” medical certificate with no restrictions
  • Hold a valid CPR and First Aid plus O2 Provider qualification from a DAN approved provider
  • Hold a Canadian Coast Guard Marine Emergency Duties (MED-A3) qualification
  • Possesses a strong understanding of marine operations and general construction supervision
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Labour Diving Regulation O. Reg. 629/94 as amended by O. Reg. 32/14 and the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license (Class G minimum) with no restrictions
