Position Overview:
Supported by the Regional Manager, the District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for the day-to-day program execution within the Manitoba/Saskatchewan South district at a variety of national retailers (Walmart, Best Buy, Apple, etc.) and independent TELUS/Koodo dealers. This includes driving overall sales across all brands within the TELUS family (TELUS, Koodo, Koodo Prepaid, mobility and home services such as Internet, TV, Home Security) while ensuring partners are provided with world class support and service.
What does a typical week look like:
Monday is your admin day where you will often attend internal team meetings and have a chance to review sales data from your district. You will then use this data to plan out which dealers/retailers you need to visit as well as which priorities/products/services you want to review/train with each location. From Tuesday to Friday are the days that you will execute on your weekly plan and will primarily be in the field visiting stores in your district providing sales/product training & reinforcement by leveraging the strong relationships you’ve built with the team. You will also be present in some partner chat groups and on call where you will provide virtual support as well as share updates on our products/services during retail operating hours. From time to time our dealers/retailers will host larger in person as well as virtual meetings where you will curate & facilitate engaging training sessions along with your peers to ensure maximum impact.

Salary Range: $62,000-$94,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%
