Würth Canada seeks a District Sales Manager who is a strategic sales thinker with a passion for coaching, managing, and developing a team of sales representatives. The manager will oversee a district covering Kitchener, London, and Windsor. We value candidates who embody our core values: achievement, honesty, integrity, mutual respect, and responsibility. The incumbent is expected to lead by example and be a strategic, influential partner within our teams to foster a high-performance, values-driven culture.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the responsibilities include:

  1. Managing a sales team of 10 representatives across the cargo division within the district, implementing strategies to meet or exceed revenue, growth, and profitability targets.
  2. Developing strategies to grow the active customer base using omnichannel approaches.
  3. Managing sales forecasts and budgets, monitoring performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  4. Engaging and motivating the team, championing our cultural attributes.
  5. Recruiting, training, and coaching sales representatives.
  6. Identifying growth opportunities within the district.
  7. Supporting sales reps with route planning and training.
  8. Addressing business challenges effectively with team and customers.
  9. Managing recruitment, performance, and training of sales staff.

The ideal candidate will bring :

  • Market and product knowledge specific to the division for strategic leadership.
  • At least 3+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Leadership experience or completion of a talent development program with coaching and training skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies.
  • Degree/Diploma in Business, Sales, or related field.
  • Strong analytical, change management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and influence teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel within the district and nationally, and work outside regular hours as needed.
