Job description

Remote - This role is categorized as remote. The successful candidate may be based anywhere in Calgary and is not expected to report to a GM worksite unless directed by their manager.

The Role:

The successful candidate will focus on and be measured by the following four key areas:

  1. Drive retail sales and market share performance
  2. Drive order coverage
  3. Improve customer satisfaction and retail experience
  4. Drive adjacency revenue performance: accessory sales & OnStar

Responsibilities:

Sales & Share Performance:

  • Achieve retail sales and share objectives for the district through implementation of district, Calgary key city, and dealer action plans
  • Identify sales opportunities on the district & Calgary key city through analysis of sales, inventory, and share data to increase performance
  • Develop plans and strategies to maximize vehicle ordering coverage to drive retail sales

Customer Satisfaction and Retail Experience:

  • Build a customer-focused culture within the dealers and ensure processes are in place to support customers and build advocacy
  • Drive CSI performance and address negative impacts on dealership performance
  • Manage customer complaint issues appropriately, supporting resolution with a win-win approach
  • Champion improvements in retail digital customer experience and implement retail innovations to enhance the retail experience

Adjacency Performance:

  • Drive accessories revenue with strong upfront ordering (LPO) and effective showroom selling and merchandising (ACO) strategies
  • Drive OnStar activations through welcome call onboarding and mobile app usage
  • Increase GM Financial leasing penetration
