What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve Canadian sales objectives
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales professionals to meet sales quotas
- Provide accurate forecasting and manage the sales pipeline effectively
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify new market opportunities and respond to customer needs
- Mentor Territory Account Managers in navigating complex sales processes for capital equipment and services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science and a minimum of 15 years of related experience, including 3+ years in management
- Proven experience in life science capital sales and managing a sales team
- Strong understanding of next generation sequencing (NGS) and genotyping
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships in clinical and research settings
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and effectively solve complex problems
