We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our operations team in the West. If you want to work in a dynamic team environment and excel when entrusted with responsibility, then Westburne is the place for you.

The District Operations Manager is a hands-on candidate who will assist in ensuring exceptional customer service while maintaining excellent operational and safety standards throughout the West Division. This position may also be responsible for processes such as inventory and warehouse management and maintenance. The candidate is accountable for meeting the Company’s KPIs and customer service standards.

1. Maintain a high level of customer service and safety
2. Monitor and maintain Divisional KPI benchmarks
3. Foster a team culture and continual improvement
4. Train employees on proper processes and sub-processes as determined by the Division Operations Manager
5. Review variance and corrective action reports, offering solutions to ensure productivity and customer service standards are met
6. Recommend purchase of new warehouse equipment and machinery as needed
7. Ensure all health and safety measures are followed
8. Travel to assist with branch projects and staff coverage as required

Who Are You

• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Exceptional leadership and time management skills
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a branch Operations Manager or in a comparable role in Distribution Operations
• Knowledgeable in Lean and 6S methodologies
• Proficient in computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to operate reach and lift trucks
• Knowledgeable and experienced with Health and Safety practices within a Distribution Centre
• Flexible with divisional travel and branch coverage
