Qualifications

• Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or related discipline preferred.
• Working towards HR designation preferred.
• 5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to research, analyze information and data, and make recommendations.
• Able to work independently or in a matrixed organization.
• Able to mentor and coach entry-level HR professionals.
• Effective verbal and written communication with negotiation skills.
• Strong networking to develop HR relationships.
• Demonstrated critical-thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads and advises on HRPD programs, policy, practices and compliance for client groups.
• Develops and executes a recruitment plan with sourcing strategies.
• Contributes to district HRPD planning and leads district initiatives.
• Provides guidance, coaching and training on career management.
• Coaches supervisors on employee relations, compensation, recruitment and performance improvement.
• Assists with local market research for annual compensation and salary/bonus calibration.
• Builds strong customer-focused relationships within the district.
• Oversees student program strategy and relationships with academic institutions.

Here's how a District HR Advisor for PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. within BC Region contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Leads and advises on HRPD programs, policy, practices, and compliance for assigned client groups.
• Develops and executes a recruitment plan with appropriate sourcing strategies.
• Participates in district HRPD planning process and leads the development, execution and evaluation of district-level projects initiatives as assigned.
• Provides guidance, coaches, and trains on all aspects of career management.
• Guides and coaches supervisors on employee relations issues, compensation, recruitment, performance improvement activities, workforce planning and training programs.
• Assists with local market research and analysis for annual compensation review and owns the calibration of salary/bonus review process for client groups.
• Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders within the district.
• Oversees the student program strategy and maintaining strategic relationships with academic institutions.

Qualifications

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
