Job description

This individual will be responsible for executing the complete Stanley Black & Decker value strategy in partnership with key distribution partners. The primary objective is to form strategic partnerships with the distributor’s sales professionals and field management to deliver jobsite solutions to End Users focused on power tools and hand tools. Daily activities include sales calls to distribution partner locations, joint end user sales calls, merchandising at branches to support sell through, and drive new product awareness. Implementing, communicating and executing strategies provided by the Senior Territory Managers will be the key to success!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build relationships with assigned distribution partners, supporting both inside and outside sales representatives
  • Own the territory and drive sales growth in served market
  • Drive the DEWALT brand through product knowledge sessions, local distribution events, and corporate initiatives
  • Develop, plan and execute effective sales and conversion plans
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the ROI for the territory
  • New business development within assigned region
  • Budget management, communication, follow-up, call-reports
SELECTION STANDARDS REQUIRED
  • Post-secondary education graduate
  • 2 – 5 years experience in sales with a record of demonstrated achievements and leadership
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Creativity and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Products, other systems include Salesforce and SAP
  • Passion for excellence
  • B2B sales experience an asset
