Agropur is looking for aDistribution Supervisorto join its team inSte-Thérèsefor a1-year temporary contract.

The Distribution Supervisor coordinates activities related to distribution and distributor agents in a given area. They work closely with the shipping, sales, and customer service departments to coordinate the daily delivery of dairy products to our clients. The incumbent maintains business relationships focused on stakeholder profitability with distributors while keeping a customer-centric approach. They coordinate distribution network movements and participate in various improvement projects.

• Salary range 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills.)

What’s involved in this role:

More specifically, the Distribution Supervisor’s responsibilities include:

• Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling daily distribution activities of fresh products in their sector to achieve operational goals;

• Leading various optimization and innovation projects in operations and identifying continuous improvement opportunities;

• Analyzing and filtering results from their sector and comparing them to departmental expectations to present to distributors (returns, pallet analysis, business reviews, etc.);

• Supporting initiatives related to information systems and intervening to find solutions to encountered problems;

• Performing cost analyses related to departmental profitability.

What you need to join our team:

• College or university diploma in a related field;

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Distribution Supervisor;

• Strong computer skills (Office Suite, SAP);

• Mastery of Lean principles;

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English is required to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces).
