Pay Range: $20.50-$23.00/Hr. based on years of experience

Shift: Monday – Friday - Your typical working schedule will be 40 - 44 hours per week to be assigned within our standard warehouse business hours

Position Overview
The Receiver handles all the incoming shipments, ensuring that shipments are detail inspected, sorted and processed in ERP System. The candidate must be comfortable working under pressure and extremely tight deadlines. Coordination with the Distribution management is necessary to ensure logistical efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks delivering goods;
- Unpack, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents;
- Record shortages, overages, and damaged goods;
- Maintain internal record-keeping system;
- Route goods to appropriate areas after receiving;
- Maintain warehouse in good state of cleanliness/organization/repair;
- Interact and communicate, regularly and effectively, with other warehouse team members
- Other work assigned by the manager
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of receiving experience
- Strong communication, numeracy, and organization skills.
- Ability to understand and follow directions, whether verbal, or written.
- Great attention to detail.
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Grade 12 minimum
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: RF Scanners; Dollies, hand trucks, and pallet lifters
- Business Equipment and Computer Applications: MS Excel; MS Windows; MS Word
