Job description

Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Distribution Driver to fill a position at the Fort Nelson General Hospital.

Reporting to the Director - Logistics, Transportation and Distribution, the incumbent is responsible for the operation, loading, and unloading of a variety of single axle fleet vehicles and transporting a variety of supplies and/or materials using a tow motor and by methods such as loading items by hand or using pallet jack and transporting to specific unit/department or facility. The incumbent will be delivering items such as supplies, lab samples, vaccines according to defined schedules, request log or dispatched instruction. May also operate passenger transportation vehicles with seating capacities of up to 10 passengers including the driver while carrying one or more passengers.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, Evenings - 11:00 to 19:00

Fort Nelson General Hospital is an important health centre for the north. The hospital houses 25 Acute Care beds and 8 Long-term beds. Services include:
