The current schedule for this shift is Monday - Friday (In-Person), from 7:00am-3:30pm.
So what’s this role all about?
As a Distribution Centre Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating the daily Distribution Centre Plan.
A typical day will be spent completing a combination of physical and clerical tasks. You will communicate with drivers, security personnel and Distribution Leaders to coordinate the proper placement of trailers and confirm information for inbound and outbound loads. Data-entry and accurate management of corresponding paperwork are also essential functions in this role.
You’ll Fit In Great If You
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers upon their arrival and departure from the yard.
- Coordinate effectively with shunt drivers or gate house to ensure trailers are accurately placed at the correct doors as per the Daily Distribution Centre Plan; complete daily yard checks and demonstrate proficiency in yard management
- Utilize our systems proficiently to coordinate and ship outbound loads
- Collaborate with Leadership to ensure all inbound and outbound load paperwork is in order
- Monitor and order Control Office supplies as needed
A Few Other Things We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years’ working in a distribution center environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experienced working with Warehouse Management Systems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
