Job description

SPUD.ca is looking for a Full Time Outbound Team Member (Night Shift) to join our growing team at our Calgary, AB warehouse location (#3, 3200 14th Ave NE). There is one position available for a 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday shift.

Our Outbound Team Members take pride in order fulfillment. They understand that the moment a customer receives and unpacks their Spud fulfilled order is special. They aim to make each customer experience personal, reflecting the care and consideration they bring to their work each day. Outbound Team Members are responsible for picking and packing customer orders, including selecting top-quality produce items and ensuring the quality and integrity of other grocery products received by customers.

SPUD.ca is an online grocery delivery business in Western Canada. We are a passionate team who believe that food touches every aspect of our lives. We advocate for sustainable farming practices, sourcing locally, humane treatment of animals, and reducing food waste.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work as a team to accurately pack customer orders on time, with care and attention to detail.
  2. Ensure all grocery orders are fulfilled correctly, with nothing missed, and find substitutions for non-stock items when necessary.
  3. Restock shelves and update inventory daily to ensure the freshest food is always available.
  4. Receive shipments from vendors and suppliers.
  5. Load delivery vans with drivers to ensure on-time departure.
  6. Collaborate with warehouse team members to complete daily tasks, take initiative, and assist others as needed.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a warehouse setting and/or within the grocery industry is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and stand throughout the day.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a cooler environment all day.
  • Punctuality and productivity are essential.
  • Ability to make quick, quality decisions.
  • Team spirit and willingness to collaborate.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude.
  • Interest in joining a fast-paced, fun-loving company.
