Job summary

MEC Distribution Center in Surrey, BC is hiring Order Processors for part-time roles with potential to move to full-time. You will price ticket goods, lift up to 60 lbs, and handle packing and shipping documentation in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Excellent English communication, attention to detail and a positive attitude are valued. Availability on multiple evenings and weekend shifts is preferred.

As Order Processors, you’ll provide excellent organization, detail and selection service for products being shipped out daily.

You’ll work with an inclusive, hands-on, collaborative group that connects people, along with our stores with quality products to encourage active outdoor lives. You’ll always be learning, and there’s a good chance your co-workers will inspire you to try something new, like riding in a Fondo, bouldering or paddle boarding.

This is a part-time role with the opportunity to move full-time.

Preference will be given to those with availability as below

• Friday: 1:00PM - 9:30PM
• Saturday: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
• Sunday: 12:00PM - 8:30PM
• Monday: 2:30PM - 11:00PM

What You Do

• Price ticketing goods correctly and accurately.

• Ability to lift 60 lbs.

• Excellent attention to detail - some might call you nitpicky - because you know small things matter.
• When plan A doesn’t work, you find creative ways to make plan B (or C, D, E, F, G) work.
• Math aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Own CSA-approved steel toe boots (required).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

The current wage for this position is $18.95 per hour. If qualified for FT $23.05
