GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Dispensing Technician reports directly to the Color Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for preparing production batches and wet samples for color formulations within a controlled environment. Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment, and adhere to company policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately and quickly dispense, correct, and produce color batches and samples from prescribed formulas and materials.
• Use related processing equipment (paint shakers, drawdown tables, and scales).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Fill and maintain an inventory of supplies.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and work environment.
• Perform other departmental duties or tasks as required.
• Recall, input and save accurate color data using the iMatch software on computer.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Excellent attention to detail.
• General mechanical aptitude is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Good Time Management Skills required.
• Able to work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent attendance history and positive work attitude are required.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or Level 12 G.E.D.
• Dispense Technician or related experience as an asset.

SHIFT: Evenings, Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:15 pm
