  • Monitor and respond to emergency calls or road issues affecting operations
  • Process and update payroll information, ensuring accurate reporting of operator hours and overtime
  • Assist with safety meetings, hazard reporting, and safety documentation
  • Process HandyDART applications and communicate approvals
  • Maintain detailed records including customer service logs, payroll inputs, ridership data, lost and found, and AVL tracking
  • Provide backup support for:
    • Fleet software for inventory, parts, work orders, and maintenance costs
    • Financial tasks like processing invoices, preparing reports, and liaising with accounts payable/receivable
  • Track and report on ridership data and service statistics
  • Order supplies, assist with administrative tasks, and help maintain compliance with regulations
  • Occasionally monitor radios after hours when needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficient English skills

  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Quick learner with great attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using a computer
  • Intermediate level Excel skills
  • Reliable team player who works well independently
  • Employment is contingent upon receiving a favorable background check.

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of Trail, Castlegar or local routes is a plus
  • Previous dispatch or forward-facing customer service experience
  • Formal education in Office Administration is an advantage
