YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the General Supervisor – Open Pit, you will be part of the Mine Department. You will ensure that goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.

  • Plan and organize shifts, considering multiple factors from various sources, to achieve optimal mining performance and meet daily objectives safely and as planned;
  • Operate the fleet management system and coordinate with mine supervision through multiple communication points during the shift;
  • Be responsible for the health and safety of your crew (work cards, inspections, safety meetings, etc.);
  • Verify all practices and procedures comply with defined regulations;
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Open Pit management team.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Diploma or technical degree in mineral and metal processing;
  • Basic mining and/or mechanical knowledge is considered an asset.

Note: The official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
  • Accommodations and meals are provided on-site at no cost. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and covers other travel expenses based on your Canadian residence.
