Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Location: St. John's, NL

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Rate of Pay: $19.00 per hour

Advantage Personnel is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join a reputable client's team in St. John's. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about logistics and looking for a career with growth potential.

Position Overview

As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of logistics and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service through clear and effective communication.
  • Track and trace shipments, coordinating appointment scheduling and deliveries.
  • Accurately input and manage customer and vendor orders in the system.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing, phone support, faxing, and other related duties.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Logistics Experience: Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation is an asset.
  • Inventory Management: Experience working with inventory systems and processes is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and logistics operations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Certification: Forklift Certification is considered an asset.
