Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the daily delivery and pickup operations for our fleet of pickup trucks and vans for our client in North Vancouver, BC. IN this role you will ensure timely, efficient service while maintaining strong communication with drivers, customers, and store staff.   • Pay Rate : $ 24.25 / hour
  • Location : North Vancouver, BC
  • Shift : Monday to Friday | 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM (some weekend work required)

Responsibilities :

  • Dispatch company pickup trucks and vans for short-haul deliveries.
  • Coordinate and follow up on customer deliveries and supplier pickups.
  • Maintain communication with drivers and customers regarding order status.
  • Optimize delivery routes and assign based on location and priority.
  • Collaborate with Store Manager to schedule workforce and reduce delays.
  • Distribute fleet vehicles, keys, fuel cards, phones, and delivery forms.
  • Ensure delivery times are recorded in tracking systems or manual logs.
  • Verify returned goods before sales team processes credits.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.
  • Conduct or support vehicle inspections and maintenance scheduling.
  • Report accidents and vehicle issues to management.
  • Schedule vehicle repairs with local facilities.
  • Contribute to store cleanliness, organization, and maintenance.
  • Make deliveries as needed.
  • May be responsible for opening / closing the facility, customer service, and admin duties
  • Qualifications :
