Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Limited, headquartered in Kingsville, Ontario, is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator for an evening shift (11:00pm-7:30am) to manage driver dispatch and route planning. The role requires coordinating daily tasks, monitoring routes, and ensuring timely communication with customers regarding freight status.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and adapt to a dynamic transportation network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, schedule and dispatch company drivers.
• Execute daily route planning & preparation.
• Daily task assignments to drivers.
• Route efficiency: Monitor route progress throughout the shift, effect changes as appropriate.
• Ensure safety & security procedures are understood and followed.
• Resolve customer delivery issues.
• Execute daily reporting of metrics as assigned.
• Develop and maintain driver communication and provide the necessary driver support.
• Update customers on delivery status of their freight in an accurate and timely manner.

Our Kingsville head office is currently seeking a Dispatch Coordinatorto join our team.The essential function of this positionis to assistand be responsible for the communication within the transportation network.

Evening Shift (11:00pm-7:30am) Monday to Friday and every other Saturday (Friday off)

Flexibility required + weekend availability / on-call when needed
